In a constantly changing world, we need to address basic human needs in new, disruptive ways. We aim to provide an all-around sustainable universe and strengthen the opportunities for young professionals and entrepreneurs in Copenhagen to work, live and everything in between.

We are innovating the traditional workspace and office by enabling members to also live in their space and by mixing facilities for working and living. Here, you’ll find openness, knowledge sharing, co-working, and collaboration. And a vibrant sense of a welcoming urban intimacy.

138 work studios with the opportunity to live, and 2 large retail spaces. A sustainable café, gym, rooftop terrace, co-working space, lounge, meeting rooms, parking basement etc. Siljangade will provide everything you need under one roof to support your work-life style. A place where you are surrounded by like-minded people in a space that never sleeps.

Introduction

 

At the spear of Amager - close to the city centre. Next to Kløvermarken and right across from Christianshavn, a glance away from Amager Strandpark and not far from Refshaleøen.

A gem is hidden in the middle of a creative zone in a rapidly developing area. Right here we are transforming a historical building into a new inventive space. The 10.000 m2 former historic building, which among others housed the disruption of millions of books, hundreds of creative entrepreneurs, and great artists.

Siljangade is now transformed into a virbant and living community-driven, entrepreneural house. Designed and rebuild by reusing the core building structure to minimize the CO2 footprint in the construction.

We are innovating the traditional workspace and office by enabling members to also live in their space. We aim to make life easier for the entrepreneurs and young professionals, by providing an all-around sustainable universe for people to work, live, eat, experience, share and engage.

When does Siljangade open?

1st of July 2021.

Can I park at Siljangade?

You can rent a parking space or have paying visitors in our own underground parking area.

Can I use the WorkStudio as an office?

Yes. All WorkStudios are intended to function as creative workspace - and can fit multiple workstations.

Is Siljangade sustainable?

Yes - we started by re-using the existing building frame, saving likely 80% of CO2 in construction and took a sustainable approach to our operations, e.g., running the whole building on solar powered electricty. Our buliding is in the process of being DGNB Gold certified.

Are the WorkStudios furnished?

No, WorkStudios are not furnished, but we plan to offer furnishing if this suits your company. This would be an additional cost to the rent.

Whats in the gym?

The gym is placed on the ground floor and comes fully equipped. You can lift, run, stretch, squat, box, yoga and everything in between.

Is food included?

Not in the rent - but it is in the building. On the ground floor we have The Kitchen where our chef prepares breakfast, lunch, take-away dinner, coffee, wine and other treats. So your office lunch is secured. The Kitchen is also open to outside guest during parts of the day.

How long can I be located at Siljangade?

As long as you want to.

But can I also live at Siljangade?

Yes, that is a key part of the concept, the potential to mix work and life. You do not have to live at Siljangade, but you can. That is why we name our units WorkStudios, and why they all come with a private bathroom and kitchen.

What is included in the rent?

Everything - including access to our ground floor workspaces, cafe, meeting rooms, gym and and other cool functions. The only thing that is not included in your rent is WiFi and your unit consumption of heating, water, and electrity, which we measure and collect separately from you.

Do I have to have a company to live at Siljangade?

Yes, you have to have a legal company entity to be a part of Siljangade.

The Kitchen is open Monday to Friday from 08.00-16.00. You are more than welcome to drop by and get some work done, have breakfast or lunch from the Kitchen or just hang out. Siljangade is work-life optimization at its best!
